I just picked up a new set of aggresive tread mountain bike tires. There are great on mud and dirt, but some what" buzzy" on the mostly asphalt bike trails here. Is there a tire with an aggresive side tread, but with a 3/8" or 1/2" wide continous rib in the center for street riding?I havent been able to locate any online yet,and would like to know what the members here have found.

In 26 inch size, look for the WTB Nanoraptor or Vulpine. The Nano can still be a bit buzzy, but it rolls very well on pavement as well as dirt. I've never used the Vulpine, but it's a pretty traditional semi-slick.

Hi, I found some like what you want at the Bicycle Chain a few years ago. I don't know if they are carrying them anymore, but I've found them to be great tires and use them on both my road bike and my hybrid. Good luck! Mary
